Gandalf writes: Wellington Kong fans might be forgiven for taking a second look at the Mt. Victoria transmission tower in June 2005. No, it's not Kong (or a man in a monkey suit), but actually part of the Adidas "Stand in Black" rugby promotion in support of the All Blacks and being promoted by a local radio station whose parent company owns the transmission tower. The outline, clearly visible from across town, certainly made me look twice! |
