Well, it was around this moment that it became clear that the entirety of TORn had been knocked off the internet by a severe power failure at the ISP back in Wisconsin, and on returning the site had lost the ability to post news. Not to mention the fact that the webcast encoding boxes had become infected by virii in the 5 minute window they were on the 'net whilst downloading the latest hot fixes; the video capture cards were chosing crashing the webcast broadcasting software; and that only 2 of the 5 promised cameras had been set up by our hired technical crew - with no provision for audio streaming on the webcast. Or anyone to man the video mixers. And that the hired computer support guy wasn't going to show for some reason. </rant> Pictured are yours truly (Arathorn) tearing his hair out, and TORn IRCop CharlieMS who appears to have quite literally lost his head. |
