 Information:

The editor of The Taranaki Daily News in New Zealand gives a Kiwi’s view of Peter Jackson’s accomplishments: “In short, it is impossible to over-estimate the impact of the life of a Wellington boy, who went to his beloved local cinema in 1970, aged nine, to sit mesmerised through a showing of the 1933 classic, King Kong, and came out blinking into the sunlight with the sure knowledge that he wanted to be part of the magic of making movies.”
