The company Dusso are credited as 'Senior Matte Painter' for both 'The Fellowship of the Ring' and 'The Two Towers'. Here are some very special behind-the-scenes look at some of their work. Here is perhaps a scene not in the final cut of either films. It shows some sort of creature, possibly Gollum, entering the Lonely Mountains.
