Frodo, covered in spider web and leaves. Our first question was, why is Frodo outside with spider webs on him? A possible story change? Our theory is this is right before Gollum leads Frodo and Sam into the Lair, possibly right near the entrance. The webs on Frodo in this image are smaller than those in an image we posted earlier here: http://www.theonering.net/scrapbook/group/797/view/6696 Could Frodo be plodding through smaller spider webs before he gets to the real juicy ones in Shelob's Lair? |
