This Cave Troll statue is posed suitable for scanning and skinning in CGI in the classic Vitruvian Cave Troll posture. As such, it probably counts as a Maquette - albeit an amazing detailed and coloured one. Naked, as Peter Jackson and WETA originally intended and envisioned it, this rendition of the Cave Troll is one of the most spectacular pieces in the exhibition. |
